The Rescue Diver course makes you a hero underwater: you learn to recognise potential dangers early on, provide first aid and act correctly in emergencies. This course not only expands your skills, but also increases your confidence and safety as a diver - for you and your diving partners. 🐠
Content
Course materials:
✔️All necessary materials are included in the price, including access to the PADI e-learning programme so you can work through the theoretical part of the course from the comfort of your own home.
Duration:
✔️3 days including theory, confined water dives and open water dives with various rescue scenarios.
Prerequisite:
✔️AOWD or equivalent, minimum age 12 years (Junior Rescue Diver) or 15 years (Rescue Diver) and a first aid certificate with cardiopulmonary resuscitation not older than 2 years.
Our price includes all course fees, all dives and certificate.
Please note: For that course, we recommend a starting age of 18. Diving equipment is not included in the course price. In addition to the above prices, further costs may be incurred locally due to national park or reef fees.

For all divers who are not staying directly at the Giftun Azur Resort, we offer a free pick-up service from your booked hotel or private accommodation. This service applies to all hotels and accommodation in the city area of Hurghada. Simply book via this link our free hotel pickup.
Of course, we will bring you back to your accommodation in the evening after your diving day. The return trips start at 5 pm from our diving center and are offered every 30 minutes until the diving center closes. For participants on special tours, such as our XXL day tour with earlier departure, we organise pick-up and return times to suit your schedule. With us, you'll have a relaxed start in your diving day!
Registration and introduction to the e-learning platform
Registration:
After we have received your payment for the course, we will send you the access code for the PADI Rescue Diver e-learning platform to the email address you provided. You can then log in to the Padi app and get started straight away.
Course materials:
You get access to multimedia content such as videos, animations, interactive exercises and quizzes that make learning fun and effective
Start of the course:
You start with the first modules and can go throught the individual lessons at your own pace.
Technical requirements
Devices:
✔️You need a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access.
Internet:
✔️A stable internet connection is required to access the learning platform and download the course materials.
Software:
✔️The Padi e-learning platform is compatible with common web browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or you can download the PADI app to your device from your app or Play store.
